Residential department is a newer department earning rapid growth and booking over $14,000,000 in sales in 2024. The Sales leadership team has over 50 years of field experience, with proven experience and strategy in earning sales, opening new markets and developing our team members.   • Make initial contacts and establish relationships with decision makers and targeted markets
  • Support prospecting and lead generation efforts
  • Develop strategic partnerships, relationships, and alliances for company growth, maintaining an active pipeline of opportunities
  • Engage clients to uncover and close growth opportunities to ensure sales objectives are met
  • Create and present sales proposals tailored to the target audience
  • Collaborate with Estimators and negotiate contract terms with clients
  • Track and report on status of proposal components
  • Respond to client inquiries
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop sales tools and strategies for entering target markets
  • Represent JR & Co., Inc. at all assigned networking functions
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of JR&CO offerings as well as current market research to identify profitable business opportunities
  • Maintain detailed client database and prospecting list
  • Record and update all business development activities and results on CRM
  • Valid driver's license in accordance with state laws and company policies
  • Knowledgeable about OSHA safety standards and committed to following all safety protocols
  • Tech-savvy with experience using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, The EDGE (preferred), and Pipedrive (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) that help you connect with others effortlessly
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while managing multiple priorities with ease
  • Self-driven and passionate about taking ownership of generating new business opportunities
  • Proven ability to build relationships quickly and collaborate seamlessly with internal teams

  • 1-3 years B2C or B2B sales experience preferred, but not required
  • Construction/contracting background preferred, but not required
  • Canvassing sales experience preferred
  • Prior storm restoration industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of roofing systems, applications and benefits preferred
  • Cold calling and acquisition experience preferred
