We are seeking an Outside Sales Consultant to join our growing team in Commack, NY. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers seeking moving and storage services. You'll be provided with company-generated leads while also having the opportunity to build your own book of business. Requirements

  • 3–5 years of sales experience (required)
  • Strong closing ability and customer-facing confidence
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-based environment
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home and virtual consultations for local and long-distance moves primarily in residential homes
  • Prepare detailed, accurate moving estimates using company software of all in-home inventory that is being moved and list things not going
  • Manage a steady pipeline of company-provided leads – up to 5 appointment per day
  • Self-generate 10–20% of business through networking and outreach
  • Travel throughout Suffolk County, Nassau County, and NYC boroughs
  • Maintain consistent follow-up to convert leads into booked business at least 40% or more of all estimates
  • Coordinate closely with operations and move coordinators to ensure smooth execution of follow ups
  • Maintain detailed records, notes, and communication in CRM systems
  • Stay responsive to clients before, during, and after their move
