About The Position

The Residential Monitor plays a crucial role in an inpatient substance use disorder treatment facility by observing and interacting with clients. This position is essential for ensuring the safety and well-being of clients while they adhere to the treatment schedule. The role requires constant alertness and the ability to work independently under limited supervision, with responsibilities reported through periodic meetings.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some experience with substance use disorder is required.
• Must maintain a valid Texas Driver's license and auto liability insurance.
• Must have a driving record acceptable to PermiaCare's insurance requirements.
• Required to pass criminal history and background checks as well as a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Observe and interact with clients in the treatment facility.
• Ensure clients' safety and well-being at all times.
• Monitor adherence to the weekly group schedule.
• Work independently under limited supervision.
