About The Position

SeaView Community Services is hiring a Residential Mental Health Clinician for our 7-bed Adult Mental Health Residential Facility in beautiful Seward, Alaska. This role provides therapeutic services, clinical oversight, and support to adults experiencing Serious Mental Illness (SMI) and co-occurring disorders in a structured, trauma-informed environment. Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
Licensed or license-eligible in Alaska preferred (LPC, LCSW, LMFT).
Experience providing therapy in a behavioral health setting.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and SMI treatment.

Nice To Haves

Experience in residential or community mental health.
Knowledge of Alaska Medicaid requirements and documentation standards.

Responsibilities

Provide individual and group therapy to residents in our 24/7 residential treatment program.
Complete assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and individualized treatment plans.
Offer crisis intervention, safety planning, and clinical support during acute episodes.
Utilize evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT-informed interventions, MI, and trauma-informed care.
Work closely with residential staff, case managers, clinical associates, and medical providers.
Support residents in developing daily living skills, emotional regulation, and community-readiness skills.
Complete timely clinical documentation that meets state and federal requirements.
