This is a non-exempt position. Manages the overall organization and supervision of the residential home living assistants/paraprofessionals and is responsible for ensuring the safety and well being of residential students at all times.
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree (Masters Degree in Social Work preferred) with a minimum of five (5) years experience managing and supervising staff and a minimum of three (3) years experience working with Native American children and families experiencing inter-generational trauma.
Typically requires course work in alcohol/substance abuse counseling.
Requires a valid Washington State Driver's License
Requires submitting any transcripts/proof of degree, certifications, and three written letters of recommendation upon applying.
Requires knowledge of and experience in working with Native American children.
Requires knowledge of and experience in managing such as scheduling shifts and mandated professional training schedules.
Requires ability to plan, develop, and implement a well-organized orientation program for returning and new staff.
Requires ability to direct and supervise Home Living Assistants and Para Professionals in their daily activities outlined in the PSIS Residential Program Policies and Procedures and their job descriptions.
Requires ability to ensure all ISEP records are in compliance and follow regulations.
Requires ability to maintain strict confidentiality as well as signing an oath of confidentiality.
Pursuant to Tribal Policy, if this position is safety sensitive it is subject to pre-employment drug testing. In addition, this position is subject to reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug testing.
If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license and be eligible for the Tribes’ Vehicle Insurance. In addition, this position may be subject to pre-employment background clearances. If applicable, these clearances must be maintained throughout employment.
