About The Position

ABiLITY is seeking a Residential Manager to oversee staff and services in residential homes providing 24-hour supports to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role is responsible for staff supervision, service quality, and day-to-day program operations while ensuring health, safety, and regulatory compliance. This position is open to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a human services field OR five (5) or more years of verified experience in the human services field.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field OR
• Five (5) or more years of verified experience in the human services field
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications

Nice To Haves

• Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred
• Experience as a DSP, Residential Manager, Program Manager, Case Manager, or Supervisor in human services is strongly valued

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and support direct support professionals
• Oversee health, safety, and quality of services for individuals supported
• Coordinate medical appointments, follow-up care, and documentation
• Maintain accurate individual and agency records
• Provide leadership coverage, including rotating on-call responsibilities
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and person-centered culture
