Strawberry Fields, Inc is celebrating 50+ years of service to the Centre region! Job Summary: Oversee 24 hours supervised, licensed residential program supporting up to four individuals with Intellectual disabilities in a group home setting Ensure compliance with agency policy and state regulations, chairing staff meeting, supervision of direct care staff, interacting with families and completing required documentation Organization Expectations: Be interested in assisting individuals with disabilities, co-existing medical conditions and mental health challenges Ability to work independently and as a team member is essential Patience and flexibility required Active social engagement required Must be flexible regarding work schedule Able to work independently Flexibility and initiative to take on new projects Attention to detail (i.e., documentation, paperwork)

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license with good driving record
  • Access to own transportation, travel throughout the county and central region to agency events, consumer and family meetings, etc.
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Experience working with individuals with differing abilities plus degree preferred
  • Criminal background check required
  • Professional and Personal references required
  • Must have exceptional communication skills in interactions with consumers, staff, families, and the community
  • Salary requirements requested
  • One-year commitment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and assistance to staff who work directly with individuals with Intellectual disabilities so they can achieve those skills necessary to live as independently as possible within the community.
  • Provide leadership to maintain the facility with the quality standards outlined by the Director of Intellectual Disabilities Services.
  • Perform ongoing supervision of all aspects of daily operations.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual and program needs.
  • Full time position requiring a high level of flexibility with regards to schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call duties.
