About The Position

- The Residential Manager II at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a residential facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support services to residents. This role involves managing staff, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards to foster a safe and supportive living environment for individuals with behavioral health needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a residential or behavioral health setting.
  • Proven experience in managing and supervising staff within a residential program.
  • Experience in developing and implementing individualized care plans for residents.
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations pertaining to residential care facilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
  • Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the residential staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents in collaboration with healthcare providers and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe and supportive environment.
  • Monitor the quality of care and services provided, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and community resources to enhance resident support and services.
  • Manage the facility's budget, resources, and supplies efficiently.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by residents, families, or staff promptly and professionally.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of the facility to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are met.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to resident care and facility operations.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere that promotes the well-being and growth of all residents.
