Goldfarb Properties is seeking an experienced Maintenance Porter (Vacation Relief) for a luxury residential apartment complex in Far Rockaway, NY. This person will report to our Facilities Manager and/or Superintendent. This position is seasonal to cover for people on vacation - but there is absolute potential for this to become a full-time position.
Requirements
- Ability to use cleaning equipment is a must
- Good communication skills
- Prior maintenance/janitorial experience required
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
- Team player
- Highly motivated - independent worker
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Manage general cleanliness of all assigned work areas
- Manage interior/exterior cleanliness of the building
- Trash removal and operation of trash compactor
- Care for property owned maintenance equipment
Benefits
- Pay range: $20.88 to $27.83 hourly
