About The Position
In this role, you will be responsible for performing oversight of Alliant's residential loan sub-servicers. This includes monitoring that residential administration controls are sufficient and performed timely and accurately. You will participate in HMDA data scrubs, audits, and exams, ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal laws, company procedures, and policies. Your role will require you to maintain integrity and ethics in all actions and conversations with or regarding credit union members and their accounts, complying with Privacy Act directives. You will perform periodic oversight of sub-servicers and other residential lending vendors, analyzing escrow, insurance on property, and the lifecycle of oversight. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and reviewing reports, testing the results, and working with sub-servicers (DMI) to remediate identified issues. You will report results to the business and leaders, providing solutions and recommendations, and follow up with the business on performance results to develop effective remediation plans and controls for identified issues. Additionally, you will perform HMDA data scrubs and validations, working with the internal HMDA compliance team on the annual LAR filing. Collecting required documentation and information as requested by auditors and examiners will be part of your duties, as well as reviewing that data is correct before providing it to examiners. You will prepare performance reporting covering residential lending administration and related servicers, gathering different reports such as monthly performance, delinquency, member experience, and member service. Analyzing reports and comparing them to the outside market will be essential, as you provide results to various lines of business. Collaboration with DMI to identify root causes of issues and analyze changes will also be a key aspect of your role, along with preparing ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
