About The Position

The position is an entry-level role focused on broadband installation and troubleshooting activities. The employee will undergo training to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge for competent performance in these tasks. The role involves working under supervision initially, with increasing independence as proficiency develops. Continued employment is contingent upon meeting training and certification requirements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• 0-2 years of relative work experience
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Technical knowledge related to broadband installation and troubleshooting

Nice To Haves

• Experience in customer service roles
• Familiarity with installation tools and safety practices
• Basic technical knowledge of broadband services

Responsibilities

• Perform installations and changes of service while adhering to applicable codes and company procedures.
• Update customer accounts to ensure accurate records of products and services.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve customer inquiries and concerns to ensure proper functioning of products and services.
• Educate customers on products and services to enhance their experience.
• Persist in completing projects despite obstacles and engage customers with our products and services.
• Display active listening skills and empathize with customers to enhance their experience.
• Use installation tools and hand tools, including climbing poles and working from heights.
• Lift and carry loads of 70 lbs. or more and work in confined spaces.
• Drive company vehicle safely and responsibly while performing duties.
