This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship across both installation and service operations , while developing technicians and maintaining operational excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who can lead from the field, solve complex issues, and elevate team performance.

Requirements

  • Strong residential HVAC experience (installation and/or service)
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems, airflow, and ductwork
  • Leadership experience (supervising, training, or mentoring technicians)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead by example in the field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable using field service software (ServiceTitan or similar preferred)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • HVAC experience in residential settings

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support HVAC technicians in both install and service work
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance in the field
  • Troubleshoot complex HVAC system issues (equipment, airflow, ductwork)
  • Perform ride-alongs, field audits, and jobsite inspections
  • Train and mentor technicians on best practices, safety, and quality standards
  • Ensure all work meets mechanical codes, safety standards, and company expectations
  • Partner with dispatch, operations, and leadership to ensure job readiness and efficiency
  • Help reduce callbacks through strong quality control and coaching
  • Support team performance, accountability, and development
