The Residential HVAC Installer Helper assists Lead Installers with the installation of residential heating and cooling systems. This entry-level position focuses on learning proper installation techniques, jobsite safety, and company standards while supporting efficient and high-quality system installations in residential homes and new construction projects.

Requirements

• Previous construction or mechanical experience is helpful but not required
• Willingness to learn residential HVAC installation
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments

Nice To Haves

• Basic hand and power tool experience
• Interest in a long-term career in HVAC
• Trade school or vocational training (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Installer with installation of residential HVAC systems, including:
• Furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, and mini-split systems
• Help with removal of old equipment and jobsite preparation
• Carry tools, materials, and equipment to and from jobsite
• Assist with installing ductwork, line sets, condensate drains, and registers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite at all times
• Follow all safety procedures, including use of PPE
• Observe and learn proper installation methods and best practices
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately as directed by the Lead Installer
• Communicate respectfully with homeowners and team members
• Assist with cleanup and job close-out
