About The Position
Residential Garbage Truck Driver - Waste Connections Location: Dade City, FL Pay Rate: $25 per hour Waste Connections is looking for individuals who have a passion for driving, career growth, and share our #1 Value: Safety! We are hiring Residential Garbage Truck Drivers to join our team in Dade City, FL. Schedule: Monday-Friday, typically 3:00 AM - 3:30 PM Occasional Saturday work Average 50-55 hour work week Year-round work with overtime opportunities Compensation & Benefits: Competitive pay: $25 per hour Excellent benefits: medical, dental, vision, flexible spending account, long-term disability, life insurance, 401(k) Paid vacation Stable, year-round employment Position Summary: Operate a residential garbage truck on a designated route Regular heavy lifting and climbing in/out of the truck Safely, efficiently, and courteously serve customers
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL
- Minimum 2 years of work experience with a stable work history (driver experience preferred)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Nice To Haves
- Garbage truck experience is a plus
