The Residential Field Specialist acts as local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. Perform AC system tune-ups, install energy efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency (re)audits, pre- and post-installation verifications and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Provides technical advice, guidance and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues and recommends solutions. Successful candidates for this role will reside in Northwest Arkansas.

Requirements

  • 3 years of relevant experience in energy efficiency, or other relevant area
  • High School Diploma or Associates degree preferred
  • Strong customer service and client relationship skills, and enthusiasm for energy conservation
  • EPA Card required

Responsibilities

  • Travel throughout a defined territory performing AC Tune Ups.
  • Train field staff and develop training materials and guidelines on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and audits of residential energy efficiency upgrades that involve further complexity and analysis
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning and effectiveness of products
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues
