The Residential Exterior Division Manager is a true P&L owner, accountable for building and scaling the retail division within a single market. This is a hands-on leadership role in the early stages, requiring direct involvement in sales, recruiting, and process development. Over time, the role is expected to evolve into a broader, multi-location leadership position as the business scales.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of building and leading teams while driving revenue and profit growth
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments and creating structure, processes, and accountability
  • Strong performance orientation with motivation tied to results-based compensation
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to leverage company tools and resources to drive ownership and long-term growth
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in B2C sales or home services
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to maintain a sedentary posture and operate computer equipment for extended durations.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and travel as necessary.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 75 pounds and perform necessary pushing and pulling actions.

Responsibilities

  • Own full P&L responsibility for the residential roofing division within the assigned market
  • Develop, execute, and continuously refine local growth strategies aligned with corporate objectives
  • Drive sustainable revenue growth and margin improvement year over year
  • Balance entrepreneurial leadership with disciplined use of enterprise infrastructure and resources
  • Personally contribute to sales efforts in the early stages to establish market presence, credibility, and momentum
  • Recruit, hire, train, and lead a high-performing B2C sales team
  • Oversee retail and insurance restoration sales, ensuring pricing discipline, margin integrity, and deal quality
  • Develop, implement, and enforce sales processes, KPIs, and performance accountability
  • Coach and develop employees while managing performance and outcome.
  • Build a culture of ownership, accountability, and performance
  • Partner with internal production, supply chain, and support teams to ensure seamless execution, clear handoffs, and a high-quality customer experience from contract through completion.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring accurate job setup, efficient scheduling, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage roofing crews and subcontractors, maintaining alignment on scope, scheduling, safety, workmanship standards, and performance expectations.
  • Build and lead a strong subcontractor network, holding partners accountable to quality, pricing, safety, and performance metrics.
  • Proactively manage job flow by identifying and resolving labor, material, or production challenges before they impact customers or margins.
  • Serve as the escalation point for customer, quality, or production issues, ensuring timely resolution while protecting company profitability and long-term satisfaction.
