We are looking for a talented individual… to join our team as a Residential Energy Auditor! You will be a customer-facing role installing energy efficiency measures for residential homeowners in Indianapolis. You will meet with residential customers to perform comprehensive Home Energy Assessments of residential homes, and direct install energy efficiency measures. You will also work to build and maintain customer relationships and cultivate energy efficiency upgrade opportunities within customers’ homes. Successful candidates will reside in Indianapolis, Indiana for frequent travel within the territory
Requirements
- Experience in industries such as construction, facility maintenance or installation
- Customer service skills
- Are at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets CLEAResult’s minimum safety standard
- Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record.
- Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
- If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
Responsibilities
- Complete thorough assessments of residential homes from foundation to roof, focusing on thermal envelope, HVAC and water heating, appliances, lighting and electronics, and health and safety
- Install energy-saving measures such as LED light bulbs, thermostats, water fittings and smart thermostats
- Complete data collection and reporting using comprehensive energy modeling software
- Identify and promote all program-eligible energy efficiency upgrade opportunities
- Be responsible for Homeowner education and full life cycle relationship
- Travel throughout a defined territory
