Requirements
- 3-5 years of residential service experience preferred.
- Follow national, State & Local electrical codes
- Ability to represent the Jerry Kelly brand in a positive way
- You must have the ability to engage with and actively listen to customers.
- Ability to work independently to complete tasks.
- Demonstrate Leadership in a group setting
- Ability to work in a team environment
- May climb ladders or stand on equipment off the ground
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check
- Good driving record
- No criminal record
- Insurable driver’s license
- Class E driver’s license required within 30 days of hire
- No visible tattoos (must be covered up while working)
Responsibilities
- Educate the homeowner on what services are needed and why, prior to starting work.
- Build rapport with the homeowner and provide excellent customer service.
- Provide a thorough evaluation of the electrical system with the customer and develop a variety of options to meet customer needs.
- Exhibits a safety-first approach during all work activities.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Perform general electrical maintenance and safety inspections
- Inspect transformers and circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
- Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, or fixtures.
- Repair & replace defective equipment, components & wiring.
- Discusses electrical system malfunctions with clients to isolate problems and verify that repairs correct malfunctions.
- Service/installation to the UL specifications
- Take detailed notes of work prior, during, and after completed work.
- Go over invoice with customer and collect payment.
- Ensures the homeowner receives a Five Star experience during the service visit.
- Other job duties as assigned.
