About The Position

Position Summary: The Residential Driver, under direction of the Residential Supervisor, empties company issued residential waste receptacles for Tiger Sanitation customers. Essential Functions: Performs and documents pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company issued vehicles Empties residential waste receptacles as indicated on daily route sheet Actively communicates any and all changes to daily route sheet to the dispatch team Notifies supervisor of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage that may occur while completing activities on route Reviews and completes daily work orders Ensures accurate completion of route sheet and VCR by the end of each day Ability to proficiently navigate, in forward and reverse motion, driveways, alleyways, high traffic roadways with potential limited overhead and compact areas. Ability to operate vehicles in accordance with OSHA (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and DOT (Department of Transportation) requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Ability to safely operate a DOT vehicle
  • Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance
  • Ability to convey Tiger Sanitation as the obvious choice for our customers, employees and community

  • Possess a valid Class A or B Driver’s License
  • 3 years of professional commercial driving experience preferred
