About The Position

Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a Automated Side Load Residential Driver at our site in Altamonte Springs, FL. The position will be responsible for driving a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste and transport it to appropriate disposal sites. PAY: $24+/hr. depending on experience. SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday with one Saturday a month starting at 6AM. 10-12 hours a day. Working 55-60 hour weeks. POSITION SUMMARY: In this position you will be operating a garbage truck on a specified route. This is a position requiring regular heavy lifting and climbing in and out of the truck. This position will be responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers. Requirements

• Valid CDL
• Have at least 2 years of work experience as well as a stable work history, preferably in a driver position.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Front Load experience preferred !!
