About The Position

The Treatment Specialist position at Child & Family Healing Center involves providing supervision of a team of support coaches and delivering daily therapeutic care, programming, and crisis intervention for residents. The role requires participation as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team in the therapeutic residential program, utilizing Collaborative Problem-Solving techniques to assist clients with challenging behaviors and to foster helping relationships. The center serves youth aged 11-17 with various emotional and behavioral challenges in a secure, supportive environment.

Requirements

• Master's degree plus 2 years related experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years related experience may substitute for Master's degree.
• Proficient in the use of personal computer and Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to effectively use agency technology and software programs in required functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision of a team of support coaches.
• Deliver daily therapeutic care and programming for residents.
• Conduct crisis intervention as needed.
• Participate as a member of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Utilize Collaborative Problem-Solving techniques to assist clients.
• Help clients with challenging behaviors and build helping relationships.
