About The Position

Duties: This position is a non-exempt position with responsibility for supports to persons with developmental disabilities residing in residential programs in Montgomery County.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a High School Diploma/GED with a valid driver’s license.
- Experience should include supports to people with a range of Intellectual Disabilities, including individuals with dual diagnoses and physical disabilities.
- Familiarity with policies, procedures and regulations toward the abilities of individuals with disabilities preferred.
- Position requires a positive attitude toward the abilities of the individuals with disabilities, good communication skills and the desire to engage people in activities that meet their interests and broaden their horizons.
- Ability to work with management, staff, families and funding sources in a respectful and courteous manner.
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff and person(s) we provide services for.
- Ability to initiate problem solving.
- Must be able to provide all clearances.
