About The Position

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a High School Diploma/GED with a valid driver’s license.
  • Experience should include supports to people with a range of Intellectual Disabilities, including individuals with dual diagnoses and physical disabilities.
  • Familiarity with policies, procedures and regulations toward the abilities of individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Position requires a positive attitude toward the abilities of the individuals with disabilities, good communication skills and the desire to engage people in activities that meet their interests and broaden their horizons.
  • Ability to work with management, staff, families and funding sources in a respectful and courteous manner.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff and person(s) we provide services for.
  • Ability to initiate problem solving.
  • Must be able to provide all clearances.
  • It is essential to support The Salvation Army by having an appreciation and understanding of The Salvation Army mission.
