About The Position

The Salvation Army is hiring for the position of Residential Direct Support Professional I in the Developmental Disabilities Program located in Philadelphia County. This is a part-time position with immediate availability and multiple openings. The role involves providing support to individuals with developmental disabilities residing in residential programs. The position is non-exempt and reports to Program Coordinators. The salary for this position is $16.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Minimum requirement of a High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Experience supporting people with a range of Intellectual Disabilities, including individuals with dual diagnoses and physical disabilities.
• Familiarity with policies, procedures, and regulations regarding individuals with disabilities.
• Positive attitude toward the abilities of individuals with disabilities.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to initiate problem solving.
• Must provide all clearances.

Responsibilities
