About The Position

As a Direct Care Staff member, you will have the opportunity to be a superhero in someone's life! Your mission will be to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with diverse needs, all while infusing fun and excitement into their daily routines. From assisting with personal care to planning engaging activities, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and dynamic environment. Responsibilities: - Be a source of joy, energy, and positivity for the individuals you support. - Assist with personal care tasks, making sure everyone feels comfortable and confident. - Plan and organize fun and engaging activities that cater to the unique interests and abilities of each individual. - Bring your creative side to the table by designing innovative programs and events that promote socialization and personal growth. - Support individuals in developing essential life skills, while keeping things exciting and interactive. - Collaborate with a dynamic team of like-minded individuals who share your passion for making a difference. - Document and share the unforgettable moments, success stories, and laughter that make our work so rewarding. Frequent walking, standing, and driving. Must be able to maintain a high level of energy in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift and/or carry lightweight and moderately heavy objects. Must be able to assist in lifting and transferring participants. Must be able to implement safety restraint procedures in response to emergencies or treatment plans and apply First Aid and CPR In accordance with MAB’s ADA policy, MAB will engage in an interactive dialogue with individuals to determine if the essential functions of the position may be fulfilled with or without a reasonable accommodation

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A knack for bringing excitement and a dynamic energy to any situation.
• Excellent communication skills with a touch of humor and wit.
• A genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact.
• Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and schedules.
• A valid driver's license (because we're always on the go!) and the ability to transport individuals (if required for the position).
