As a Residential Counselor, you'll be at the heart of that mission — providing hands-on support, guidance, and compassion in a residential group home environment. Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in direct care, mental health, or a related field
• Age 21+ with reliable transportation
• Comfortable working with individuals with behavioral and medical needs
• Strong communication, time management, and teamwork skills
• Calm under pressure and always respectful
• Willingness to go the extra mile for someone who needs it

Nice To Haves

• Willing to relocate before starting (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living needs: hygiene, meals, medication, and mobility
• Promote independence through skill-building, routine development, and positive reinforcement
• Provide emotional support and behavioral redirection following individualized plans
• Lead and assist with recreational outings, community engagement, and life enrichment activities
• Complete daily documentation, incident reports, and health updates accurately and on time
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and family supports
• Drive individuals safely to appointments or activities (if needed)
• Keep a clean, organized, and respectful living environment
