About The Position
We are looking for upbeat, conscientious and hardworking Residential Counselors! This position is part of our Developmental and Cognitive Services Division at Riverside Community Care. The Residential Counselor helps individuals maintain their physical and emotional health, foster relationships with housemates, family and community, live safely in the community and develop the skills necessary to increase the individual's independence. Interaction between staff and individuals will reflect an appreciation of each individual's uniqueness. In this rewarding position, you will work as part of a team to provide support, supervision, skills training and community outings for individuals with developmental disabilities. We work to encourage individuals to identify their strengths, develop and practice new skills, and actualize their hopes and dreams.
