About The Position

The Residential Counselor provides direct and indirect services to both individuals and groups of members served. Shifts Available: On call: days vary as needed, hours vary as needed Contra Costa Hope House serves adults aged 18-59 experiencing an acute mental health emergency. Adults aged 59 and older are admitted on a case by case basis. The average length of stay is 7-10 days.

Requirements

• High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent
• At least one (1) year of direct service experience in a mental health setting
• Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
• Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
