About The Position

The Residential Counselor provides direct and indirect services to both individuals and groups of members served. Shifts Available: Full-Time | AM | Shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Days: Sunday - Thursday, as needed Expected starting wage range is $21.00 - $22.52. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. Treehouse South, is part of a network of crisis residential programs in Orange County. Treehouse South is a short-term crisis residential program, which works in collaboration with the Orange County Mental Health Department. It assists members within Orange County who are experiencing acute mental health crisis, and need additional assistance in stabilizing their current level of functioning without resulting in the member being admitted to any Inpatient or higher level of care facility or program. The program is staffed by a multidisciplinary team that focuses on stabilization and recovery.

Requirements

  • High School graduation or a G.E.D. equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of direct service experience in a mental health setting
  • Valid and current driver's license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups, etc.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc.
