About The Position

The Residential Coordinator - Health Care Technician IV at Pueblo Regional Center is responsible for overseeing the implementation of residential programming for individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health diagnoses. This role involves providing supervision, coaching, and support to direct care staff while ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts and locations as needed to meet the agency's operational demands.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three years of experience in a related occupational field.
• Valid Colorado LPT-DD, LPT-MI, LPN, or QMAP certification, or the ability to earn QMAP within three months of hiring.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all residential programming is implemented effectively in the home.
• Provide supervision, modeling, and coaching to direct support professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Counsel individuals on behavior and medical care needs during interactions.
• Collaborate with investigations and authorities as needed.
• Complete and submit necessary paperwork, including incident reports and progress notes.
• Maintain strong communication with co-workers, management, and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on the progress of individuals according to their support plans.
• Participate in the Interdisciplinary Team process and document outcomes accurately.
• Exercise supervision over direct care staff, including hiring and performance evaluations.
