About The Position

The Construction Superintendent at Butler Homes is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all field construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical knowledge of building systems, and effective communication to manage subcontractors and vendors while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• 2 years of construction experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and two valid forms of ID.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn construction management software.
• Prior superintendent experience in new construction projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• College degree (preferred but not required).
• Tactful and mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate all field construction activities.
• Create and operate project schedules from start to final punch list.
• Maintain a high standard of quality to meet or exceed Butler Homes' standards.
• Conduct regular job site visits, often daily.
• Verify and log delivery and return of materials.
• Promote job site safety and safe work practices.
• Perform final walkthroughs with homeowners and complete final punch lists.
• Schedule warranty repairs and inspections as needed.
• Attend meetings at Butler Homes' office.
• Approve weekly invoicing for work completed.
