Residential Construction Project Manager

Turnstone Custom Homes is a well-established design-build firm specializing in custom residences and renovations throughout Sussex County, Delaware. For over two decades, we've built a reputation for delivering high-quality homes through craftsmanship, transparency, and strong client relationships. We're seeking an experienced construction professional to lead multiple residential projects. If you enjoy managing teams, working directly with homeowners, and delivering high-end results, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. As a Residential Construction Project Manager , you will oversee projects from initial planning through final completion. You'll be responsible for keeping projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality standards--while maintaining clear communication with clients and internal teams.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in construction project management (custom residential preferred)
- Proficiency with project management tools such as CoConstruct and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and lead teams effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with local building codes and regulations is a plus
Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of custom home construction and renovation projects
- Lead and support site superintendents and assistant project managers
- Develop and maintain project schedules using CoConstruct
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage budgets, estimates, and change orders
- Ensure compliance with company standards, building codes, and safety requirements
- Proactively resolve challenges and keep projects moving forward
- Maintain accurate job documentation and daily logs
