About The Position

Our thriving, growing, luxury residential builder client is seeking a Residential Construction Project Manager for high-end new builds and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate has deep experience leading field production ensuring projects are run efficiently, within budget, in a professional manner while maintaining the company’s high standards in building and client relations. You provide project planning, resource- and time management, organize company labor and material resources, and manage the budget and scope of work for multiple projects running simultaneously. Above all, you are dedicated, possess a strong work ethic, take ownership and pride in your work as well as how clients are treated.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in construction project management with a custom home builder or high-end remodeling firm, excluding house-flipping.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Professionalism in manner, communication, and attire.
  • Ability and willingness to travel to construction site(s) daily--this is a field management position.
  • Ability to read, understand, and explain construction blueprints and floor plans with expertise in standard construction practices, compliance, and safety.
  • Proven ability to deliver projects on time and on budget.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for demanding clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project or other construction software .
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, push and pull heavy items on a regular basis, stoop, kneel, bend, and stand for long periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Strongly prefer experience in CoConstruct software.

Responsibilities

  • Use project SOW to determine the best plan to complete each task effectively, assess and c oordinate daily material needs and procurement, and manage construction schedule in CoConstruct software.
  • Able to be on jobsite by city-allowed start time when subcontractor(s) are scheduled and ensure job site is clean and secured at the close of each day.
  • Ensure compliance with all building and safety codes and maintain quality execution keeping job site clean, orderly, and safe.
  • Manager and complete all daily logs, forms, and reports.
  • Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships.
  • Anticipate problems and proactively find and execute solutions while monitoring the quality of all workmanship in detail.
  • Provide professional, weekly progress/ updates with owners while maintaining strong relationships and company goodwill and reputation throughout the process.
