YOUR COMPENSATION | ALL OF IT, NO SURPRISES HERE Base Pay: $18-$23/hr Training (2 weeks): $18/hr - paid from your first hour, structured and hands-on Cleaning Technician: $18-$19/hr after training, running your own route Cleaning Specialist (6-12+ months, quality metrics met): $20-$21/hr Team Lead: $22-$23/hr - crew management, mentoring, route oversight (all our current leads started as cleaners!) Every raise has written criteria. You'll know exactly what to hit and when. Beyond your hourly rate: ✓ Tips: Our team typically earns $50-$100+/week in customer tips. results vary by route and season. You keep 100%. ✓ Mileage reimbursement: Paid per mile between job sites. Your commute to the first home is on you; everything after that to your last house is on us. ✓ Paid time off: Accruing from day one. ✓ 401k Retirement: Company match included. Your future isn't an afterthought here. ✓ Supplemental insurance: Aflac (accident, disability, critical illness) plus optional dental and vision. Let's do the math: $18/hr × 40 job hrs/wk = $37,440 + ~$4,000 in tips + mileage reimbursement (tax-free) + PTO = $41,000+ total comp potential in your first year. Specialists and Leads can earn $52,000-$55,000+. WHAT YOU WON'T PAY FOR (when joining our team) Some cleaning jobs look good on paper until you realize what comes out of your pocket. Here's what you'll never spend a dime on at Home Maid Better: • Cleaning supplies and equipment: We provide everything; vacuums, cleaners, microfiber, caddies. You show up; and we equip you. • Self-employment tax: As a W-2 employee, you pay 7.65% in payroll taxes. Independent cleaners pay 15.3%. That's an extra $2,400–$3,400/year out of their check that stays in yours! • Your own marketing, scheduling, or customer service: We fill your schedule. You don't chase leads, manage invoices, or handle complaints at 9pm. We have a full office team for that. • Unpaid gaps between jobs: We build your schedule so you're working, not waiting. You don't hustle for your next booking, refresh an app, or wonder if tomorrow has hours. A full day of work is our responsibility, not yours to piece together. • Liability insurance: You're protected and insured under our policies. If something breaks, it's not your bank account on the line. Requirements

  • Reliable personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance (mileage reimbursed between jobs)
  • Clean driving record: no DUIs, no at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
  • Able to be on your feet for a full shift, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 lbs
  • Pass a background check
  • Smartphone for scheduling, route navigation, and team communication
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Prior cleaning experience (residential, commercial, or hospitality)
  • Comfortable working in homes with dogs and cats; pet exposure is frequent on most routes
  • Interest in growing into a leadership role
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
