About The Position

A member of the Nexus Family Health, treatment programs, Nexus-Indian Oaks is located 50 miles south of Chicago in the small, rural community of Manteno, Illinois. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline (Psychology, Social Work, etc.) required.
  • In lieu of clinical degree, any bachelor's degree plus two years of related experience required.
  • Strong critical thinking, organization, and communication skills, along with attention to detail and the ability to exercise discretion with highly sensitive and confidential information.
  • Must be MHP eligible.
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license required (must meet state driving criteria and pass corporate eligibility standards).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline (Psychology, Social Work, etc.) and 3+ years of experience in case management and/or Social Work.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the unique treatment needs and requirements of each assigned youth are met.
  • Facilitate/co-facilitate case conferences and client-oriented team meetings with both internal and external resources.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of individual treatment plans, compiling assessment materials, maintaining required clinical documentation, and reporting within provided deadlines.
  • Collaborate with family members, licensing representatives, parole officers, court officials, and other organizational parties to ensure ongoing consensus on therapeutic treatment direction, behavior expectations, progress, and outcomes.
  • Engage in counseling sessions and therapeutic interventions within treatment parameters.
  • Ensure completion of all required documentation standards.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model by demonstrating compassion and understanding for feelings, opinions and experience of others.
  • Protect resident safety and participate with coworkers to maintain an environment that is positive, respectful, clean, and therapeutic.
