About The Position

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Residential CAD Drafter with a strong background in producing high-quality construction drawings for single-family and multi-family residential projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in residential building codes, and skilled in creating accurate, build-ready plans. This role works closely with architects, designers, engineers, and project managers to ensure drawings meet both client expectations and compliance standards. #LAT

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for residential construction projects, including floor plans, elevations, sections, site plans, and architectural details.
• Revise and update drawings based on redlines, project specifications, engineering input, and client feedback.
• Prepare construction document sets that meet permitting and code compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and design teams to ensure accuracy and alignment across all project plans.
• Maintain drawing organization, file management, and consistent CAD standards across projects.
• Assist with design development, including layout concepts, material selections, and space planning.
• Review drawings for accuracy, quality, and completeness prior to submission.
• Stay up-to-date with residential building codes, drafting standards, and industry trends.
• Collaborate with project managers to meet deadlines and support efficient project workflow.
