About The Position
Starbridge is seeking a dedicated Residential Assistant Manager to join our team in Rochester, NY. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $18.50 to $19.93. The Residential Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in providing person-centered supports to residents, ensuring their needs are met in a compassionate and effective manner. The successful candidate will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to formulate and execute individualized Life Plans for residents, providing direct personal care and assistance with daily living skills when necessary due to disabilities, illnesses, injuries, or behavioral challenges. In this role, you will assist residents in scheduling and attending medical and therapy appointments, including providing transportation when required. You will also help organize and coordinate recreational and community activities, ensuring residents have opportunities for engagement and socialization. The Residential Assistant Manager will be responsible for carrying out action steps outlined in the Plans of Nursing Services, providing medical care and triage as directed by the Registered Nurse (R.N.), and managing medications in accordance with AMAP guidelines and agency policies. Additionally, you will maintain participant records, mentor residential habilitation instructors, assist the Residence Manager with on-call duties, and complete staff scheduling. It is essential to maximize billing requirements based on current occupancy as designated by the Residential Manager. This position requires a commitment to the DSP Code of Ethics and excellent communication skills, both oral and written. The ability to work independently and solve problems effectively is crucial for success in this role.
