About The Position
A residential apartment cleaner is a professional responsible for cleaning and maintaining cleanliness in apartment units. They can work independently, cleaning one or more units and hallways on a regular basis. They typically use various cleaning supplies and tools and may also use eco-friendly products based on the client's preferences.
Responsibilities
- Dusting surfaces such as shelves, countertops, ceiling fans and kitchen cabinets
- Sweeping floors to remove dirt and debris
- Vacuuming carpets, rugs, and other fabric surfaces to remove dust, dirt, and pet hair
- Cleaning hard floors (tile, wood, laminate) with appropriate cleaning solutions
- Washing windows and mirrors to remove smudges, dirt, and fingerprints
- Wiping down kitchen counters, cleaning appliances (oven, microwave, refrigerator), and sanitizing sinks
- Scrubbing toilets, sinks, tubs, and showers, wiping down counters, and cleaning mirrors in bathrooms
- Emptying trash bins and replacing liners
- Tidying up and decluttering spaces if needed
