About The Position

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Patrol residence and report any observations leading to loss or damage of property. Monitor resident activities and act to restore order if needed. Make out reports as required. Act as escort for residents. Screen calls and visitors. Monitor the self administration of medication. Complete incident reports in AWARDS Prepare the following as needed: laundry schedule, census update, case assignments, roll call sheet, and client probation list. Help maintain transition and facilities logs. Monitor roll call sheet. Wake clients in the morning. Make periodic inspections of clients' rooms. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned.   HOURS: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Tuesday-Saturday 3pm-11:30pm

Requirements

  • HS diploma/ GED required, some college preferred.
  • One year of experience was a security guard or counselor for the mentally ill preferred.
  • Bilingual, Spanish/ English preferred.
  • Valid drivers' license preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy required.
  • CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.
