Residential Aide - January Center (Uncasville)
About The Position
The January Center is a residential treatment program that supports adult men with problem sexual behaviors who are re-entering the community after a period of incarceration. The Residential Aide is responsible for direct client care including supporting the completion of activities of daily living and ensuring safety. The ideal candidate will believe in an individual's capacity to change and demonstrate respectful and appropriate boundaries with clients. Regular and predictable attendance is expected. Working within Adult Services, the Residential Aide works with Community Justice program staff to help support clients in successful community re-entry.
Requirements
- High School Diploma / GED
- 2+ years relevant experience as a Residential Aide or equivalent
- Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
