About The Position

The position involves implementing standardized behavior management programs for clients at Casa Colina facilities, ensuring a safe environment while providing therapeutic interventions to help residents develop and maintain functional daily living skills. The role requires direct supervision of residents and collaboration with Shift Supervisors and Administrators.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Knowledge of basic reactions of people with traumatic brain injury conditions.
• Ability to practically describe behaviors observed in the environment.
• Working knowledge of crisis prevention intervention.
• Obtain criminal clearance from the Department of Justice before employment.

Responsibilities

• Implement standardized behavior management programs for clients.
• Supervise residents to ensure a safe environment on a 24-hour basis.
• Provide therapeutic intervention to develop and maintain functional daily living skills of the residents.
