About The Position

Our team is small, driven, and deeply committed to changing how housing works. We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Resident Support Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with Regional Managers overseeing various pods and portfolios within our property management operations across the U.S. This is a back-office operations support role that plays a critical part in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of key property and portfolio-level processes.

Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years experience in property management, compliance, virtual assistant work, or operations support (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in tools like AppFolio, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working with checklists, trackers, and audit logs.
  • Excellent written communication skills and proactive follow-through.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate across departments.
  • Reliable internet and ability to work US hours (PST/MST/EST).

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing and reviewing resident files, lease documents, and compliance reports for quarterly portfolio audits.
  • Draft, organize, and schedule notices (lease violations, non-renewals, etc.) in line with regional and legal requirements.
  • Help track and follow up on upcoming lease renewals across assigned portfolios using internal trackers and AppFolio.
  • Assist with monthly income/expense tracking and reporting for regional reviews.
  • Maintain accurate logs for manager performance-based commissions and assist in cross-checking bonus eligibility.
  • Support Regional Managers with data pulls, follow-ups, inbox management, and process documentation.
