About The Position

The Resident Services Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall atmosphere of the property while providing excellent service to residents and guests. This position ensures common areas, amenities, and grounds are well-maintained while also assisting with resident-focused tasks such as package handling, event setups, and light maintenance support.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in janitorial, porter, hospitality, or maintenance roles preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive, professional demeanor.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and safety guidelines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness of all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, elevators, stairwells, and restrooms.
  • Perform daily groundskeeping, including trash pickup, sweeping, and light landscaping maintenance.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and adjusting fixtures.
  • Ensure trash and recycling receptacles are emptied regularly and assist with bulk trash removal.
  • Monitor and report any safety hazards, needed repairs, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate team.
  • Assist with preparing units for rent in a timely manner. Could including painting, plumbing, drywall, electrical and HVAC work.
  • Assist with receiving and organizing package deliveries and notifying residents of arrivals.
  • Set up, clean, and maintain amenity spaces such as lounges, gyms, and pools.
  • Support on-site events by setting up chairs, tables, and decorations as needed.
  • Provide friendly and professional interactions with residents, assisting with minor requests when appropriate.
  • Escort vendors and contractors when necessary to ensure smooth property operations.
