Ongoing training and professional development Salary: $75,900 CommonBond Communities invites qualified applicants to apply for the Resident Services Regional Manager position at our Central Office in St. Paul, MN. The Resident Services Manager plays a key leadership role in advancing CommonBond’s mission by overseeing the effective delivery of trauma-informed, evidence-based supportive services, including permanent supportive housing (PSH) interventions, across a designated region of housing communities. Reporting to the Director of Services, this position provides direct supervision, coaching, and development to a team of onsite Service Coordinators, with a strong focus on addressing complex barriers to housing stability, supporting independence, and promoting wellbeing. The Manager contributes to program quality by monitoring service delivery, promoting best practices, supporting data accuracy, and reinforcing policies, procedures, and service standards. In collaboration with the Director of Services, the Manager helps operationalize service strategies, strengthen team culture, and ensure alignment across sites. This position is fundamental to building effective, mission-driven resident support systems that promote housing stability and meaningful opportunities for residents across the lifespan.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related field OR at least four years experience in a related field.
  • Three or more years experience implementing services, programs, and resident-centered initiatives.
  • Two or more years experience implementing programs that use evidence-based models of intervention (e.g. supportive housing, supported employment).
  • Demonstrated experience working within diverse communities, which include people of various ages, gender, sexual orientations, national origins, income levels, ability levels, religious affiliations, races, and languages.
  • Knowledge and experience in supportive housing and housing services.
  • Experience with data management and reporting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to network and develop community partnerships.
  • Knowledge of community resources and service networks.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment with both internal and external partners.
  • Experience utilizing MS office.
  • Supervision experience required.
  • Be certified in CPR and First Aid or have the ability to become certified within six months of starting position.
  • Must be willing and able to travel between sites.
  • Must be willing to carry a cell phone.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience in using evidence-based, recovery-oriented tools and techniques and ability to train and support staff in learning.
  • Five -years experience implementing programs that address mental health, chemical health, and/or co-occurring disorders and homelessness.
  • Grant and budget management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise Staff
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management to a regional team of Service Coordinators, ensuring trauma-informed, person-centered practice.
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and facilitate team meetings to support staff in navigating complex resident needs, strengthen communication, problem-solving, and service model fidelity.
  • Offer backup coverage and crisis consultation as needed.
  • Foster an equitable, collaborative, and supportive team culture where staff feel valued, accountable, and empowered.
  • Program Development & Evaluation
  • Ensure consistent implementation of core service models across sites, including permanent supportive housing evidence-based practices.
  • Monitor program quality using data, resident outcomes, and evaluation tools.
  • Recommend service delivery improvements by participating in proactive problem-solving based on resident needs, emerging issues, and best practices.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Partner with the Director of Services to launch and operationalize new initiatives and pilots.
  • Ensure accurate, complete, timely data entry and reporting to demonstrate program impact within internal data systems and HMIS (when applicable).
  • Administration
  • Support preparation of reports for funders, leadership, and community partners as assigned.
  • Assist in managing budgets related to resident services programming, grants, and community resources.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to fundraising efforts through data collection, program updates, and occasional participation in grant reporting.
  • Maintain team schedules, site coverage plans, and regional communication systems effectively.
  • Partnerships
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with Property Management to jointly support resident and community stability.
  • Cultivate partnerships with community agencies, Coordinated Entry partners, behavioral health providers, educational organizations, and service networks.
  • Represent Resident Services in local meetings, community collaborations, or Continuum of Care efforts when needed.
  • Strengthen connections with stakeholders to enhance service delivery and expand opportunities for residents.
  • Team Participation
  • Actively contribute to the Advantage Services management team, sharing insights and supporting organizational goals.
  • Participate in organization-wide trainings, planning meetings, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Assist in developing and facilitating staff trainings, workshops, or organizational learning activities.
  • Support communication flow between site teams, leadership, and partner departments to promote clarity and alignment.
