The Marshes of Skidaway Island is recruiting for a hospitality focused Resident Services Nurse Manager to join our team! Are you a compassionate, experienced nurse with a passion for helping older adults live their best lives? Our Resident Services Nurse Manager plays a vital role in supporting independence, wellness, and quality of life for residents in our vibrant community. As a leader in our Resident Services team, you will: Evaluate and support resident needs —physical, emotional, and social. Develop innovative programs that promote independence and well-being. Teach self-help techniques and guide residents in adaptive strategies. Supervise and inspire staff , ensuring exceptional care and service. Collaborate on admissions decisions for our Health Center. Requirements
- RN licensed in Georgia (required).
- 5 or more years of experience in geriatrics, long-term care, home health, or similar settings.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with supervisory experience required.
- A caring, proactive approach to supporting older adults and their families.
Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule home care staff to meet resident needs.
- Oversee payroll, billing, and service inquiries.
- Recruit, onboard, and train team members.
- Conduct resident clinics, educational sessions, and support groups.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality.
- Communicate with physicians, families, and staff regarding resident care.
- Promote services through presentations and community engagement.
