About the position
The Resident Services Coordinator (RSC) at the Easthampton Housing Authority is responsible for enhancing the quality of life for residents in state elderly, disabled, and family properties. This full-time role involves planning, developing, and implementing programs that promote health, wellness, education, and community building, while also providing case management and referrals to support residents' economic self-sufficiency.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, implement, and evaluate programs for residents.
- Provide health and wellness services and recreational programs.
- Assist in case management and referrals for residents.
- Work with management staff to improve residents' quality of life.
- Increase economic self-sufficiency of low-income families.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in a resident services role.
- Experience working with elderly/disabled populations for 2 years.
- Experience working with low-income families for 2 years.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of housing choice voucher and public housing residents' needs.
- Familiarity with federal, state, and local housing regulations.
- Understanding of program planning and evaluation techniques.
