About The Position

The Resident Services Coordinator is responsible for implementing Linc Housing's Resident Services model, focusing on supportive services for formerly homeless individuals and families, as well as transitional aged youth. This role involves assessing community needs, developing partnerships, and providing programs that promote health, stability, and community integration. The Coordinator will maintain strong relationships with residents and collaborate with property managers and service providers to enhance the overall well-being of the community.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in social science, social work, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in community organizing, social services, or related areas.
• Knowledge of harm reduction and motivational interviewing practices.
• Ability to work with vulnerable populations with mental health or substance use issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Experience with evidence-based practices in community development.

Responsibilities

• Implement Linc Housing's Resident Services model for supportive housing.
• Assess community needs and identify potential partnerships and programs.
• Design and market programs that promote health and social development for residents.
• Educate residents on financial stability and healthy community integration.
• Develop trusting relationships with residents through outreach and community activities.
• Provide supportive services including referrals for benefits and mental health care.
• Engage with local agencies and businesses to promote services.
• Oversee interns and volunteers, providing training as needed.
• Prepare reports on program impact and update data systems.
• Represent Linc Housing at local events and collaborative networks.
