About The Position

The Resident Services Coordinator at MG Properties is responsible for enhancing the resident experience through effective communication and event coordination. This role serves as the administrative representative of the property, ensuring that residents receive timely and informative responses to their inquiries while promoting a positive living environment.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic working knowledge in computer skills.
  • High reasoning ability to define problems and establish facts.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of insurance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct all business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to apartments.
  • Organize, prepare and distribute monthly property newsletter and events calendar, including outside marketing and advertising.
  • Plan and oversee all resident events; quarterly, monthly and weekly.
  • Organize and coordinate staff events.
  • Monitor budget and expenses related to events.
  • Monitor activities at events to ensure orderly conduct.
  • Promote positive, proactive resident relations to enhance the living experience.
  • Assist and perform leasing duties as needed.
  • Update internet and magazine advertising to maximize rental growth.
  • Remain current in all competitor functions, pricing, and marketing programs.
  • Assist with all aspects of the Leasing Office as needed.
  • Oversee activities and enforce policies and rules regarding the use of facilities.
  • Operate equipment provided in facilities (e.g., exercise equipment).
  • Answer phones to schedule use of facilities.
  • Handle emergency situations and notify the appropriate authority or emergency service.
  • Accept and input service requests.
  • Follow all safety procedures and notify supervisor of safety hazards and equipment failure.
