About The Position

At Mercy Housing, we are on a mission to redefine affordable, low-income housing and create a more humane world where communities thrive, and all individuals can realize their full potential. As the largest nonprofit affordable housing provider in the nation, we build, preserve, and manage program-enriched housing across the country. The successful Resident Services Coordinator II will facilitate and implement core programs as delegated by the program model. This role involves collecting and recording data to measure program outcomes, identifying human and community service needs of residents, and developing strategies to link residents with needed services, including assistance in overcoming various barriers that might impede access to services. The Coordinator will also build community partnerships that bring services and notice to the property, acting as an ambassador and advocate for the property, seeking volunteering opportunities, and promoting the brand. In instances where other services are not available, the Coordinator may deliver direct services. Active participation with other staff working toward resident stability is essential. The position is based at 491 31st Avenue, a 75-unit affordable community in San Francisco that provides apartment homes and on-site services supporting area seniors and individuals with disabilities. We encourage candidates with lived experience to apply. This is an on-site position, and the pay ranges from $27.00 to $32.50 per hour, depending on experience. The role also includes a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, health insurance, and a 403(b) retirement plan with matching contributions.
