What’s in it For You: On-the-Job Training to start or develop a career in a high demand field Opportunity for a long term, advanced technical career path Access to the best-in-class resources, tools and technology Thrive in a company that values a culture of safety to include top-notch safety training and personal protection equipment What You Will Do: Operate, monitor, adjust and trouble-shoot a water treatment facility consisting of lift stations, Rotary drum screen, DAFs (dissolved air flotation) pH adjustment, MBBRs (moving bed biological reactors), pumps, tanks and its processes in accordance with established procedures, monitors and use a SCADA system. Collect water samples, perform laboratory testing, analyze and record results and data in accordance with company and regulatory requirements Comply with all OSHA and Company Safety Programs and requirements Handle general maintenance and upkeep around the wastewater plant to ensure well-kept and safe work environment Maintain logbooks, data entry in log sheets, and weekly summaries to Site Manager Inspect plant equipment visually and maintain items such as pumps, meters, and measuring devices Assist in loading sludge trucks Work with chemicals and dosing pumps General mechanical PM and repairs Work a rotating four day 10-hour shift per 7-day work week with occasional call in and overtime Other tasks assigned by the Site Manager About Nalco Water: In a world with increasing water shortage and contamination challenges, Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, helps customers conserve more than 161 billion gallons of water each year.
